1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
“BIOTECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATICS”

Biotechnology is one of the major emerging sciences and its introduction has resulted in many new products and methodologies having application in different fields. Pakistan is comparatively a new entry among the nations already building bases for the future rewards of its applications in the form of products necessary for the economic and social progress. Our immediate concern, therefore, is to determine the national requirements and fulfill the demands of researches in terms of identifying collaborations among researchers, teachers and students both at national and international levels and thus providing a strong base for the future development.
The theme of the present conference is, therefore, to provide podium to the scientist to exchange views and share their experiences enabling the participant to develop competitive skills and knowledge for the promotion of biotechnology and informatics in Pakistan in general and in the province of Balochistan in particular.
We intend to achieve these objectives through key note lectures, presentations and poster sessions. Moreover this conference will also serve the purpose of international integration and understanding bridging the gap between the scientific communities. The proceedings of the conference will appear in issue of our journal of Applied and Emerging Sciences to be published soon after the conference.
