Launch of an agribusiness plan competition, 2011
Entrepreneurship is the whole process of finding opportunities, mobilizing and acquiring resources, managing the production process and marketing the products. The objectives of achieving sustained industrial development, regional growth, and employment generation have always depended on entrepreneurial development. The Business Incubation Center and Department of Business Management Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad have launched an Agribusiness Plan competition with the following objectives:-
- To promote the entrepreneurship in general.
- To inoculate the business students the importance of agri-business.
- To promote interuniversities collaboration.
- To explore new concepts / technologies for adoption by next generation of entrepreneurs.
- To bridge the industry- academia gap
