It is to inform that Department of Biotechnology and Genetics is organizing a two days international workshop on “Biotechnology for Development” from March 4-5, 2008. The main objectives of the workshop are: 1. Sharing information on the development of the Biotechnology in Pakistan 2. Providing the development universities with necessary critical mass environment to pursue and advance the research in Biotechnology. 3. Public perception about biotechnology products. 4. Sharing information on the technologies that have been developed to screen and detect new Biotechnology products.
