A team of 50 (fifty) student along with their staff of Karachi Grammar School visited Pakistan Biotechnology Information Center (PABIC), L.E.J. National Science Information Center, University of Karachi on December 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM.

The center focuses on educating students and their staff on the science of plant and Medicinal biotechnology.The goal of this new facility is to help the general public become aware of the relevance of biotechnology in our world today. Opportunities for workshops, classes, distance links and institutes will be available for teachers and students to help them gain knowledge and understanding of this difficult and changing field and its role in their lives.
